Ensuring the program is following PG&E cost and schedule reporting guidelines. Evaluating manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations including preparation of variance analysis. Working with Project Managers to create cost/schedule baseline budgets. Reporting on cost tracking metrics for engineering and construction firms and internal project management teams. Developing, reporting, and managing EPC cost data for projects. Extracting cost and scheduling information from reporting systems and analyze data to report on financial status of the project. Performing periodic audits to ensure information integrity exists between Unifier and SAP and alert the PM when corrections are needed. Reviewing, assisting, and taking the lead in the preparation of Advance Authorizations, Business Cases and Re-Authorizations and assist PM in routing for approval. Preparing, obtaining approval, and posting accruals. Providing regular communication on project cost to project team members and stakeholders, i.e. EPC’s. Posting monthly EGR’s (EPC, Inspection, PM Costs), creating Shopping Carts and Goods Receipt (GRs). Creating and processing CWA’s. Elevating project and portfolio risks or trends to project manager, stakeholders, and leadership. Marking projects operative and finalizing and recording total project costs. Participating in and possibly leading project cost review meetings. Responsible for being involved in the tracking system to ensure that project manager is fully aware of detailed change order status. Completing periodic and as-needed analysis to gauge financial impact of various project actions. Participating with management in development of strategies and plans.
Supervise the work of 5 employees: Project Control Analyst 1 and Project Controls Analyst 2.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field and 2 years of work experience in Project Controls Analyst or related occupation. Or Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field and one (1) year of work experience in Project Controls Analyst or related occupation.
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
Must have 1 years of work experience with: Advanced level of Microsoft Excel. SAP or Deltek Ajera. Primavera P6. Power BI. Tableau. Financial Analysis.

The base salary range for this position is $108,014 - $141,300. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
